Telling the Truth

Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourself from a lot of trouble! Here is a story of a man who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him.Once a man came to the prophet Muhammad (S) and said, "Oh prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?" The prophet said, "Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth." The man promised to do so and went home.At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the prophet. "If tomorrow the prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing."So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit.Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, "What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person. If you always speak the truth, you can be a good person, a good Muslim whom Allah likes and favors. If Allah - our Creator - is pleased with us, He will reward us with HEAVEN, which is a place of happiness and joy.MAKE A PROMISE: I SHALL ALWAYS SPEAK THE TRUTH.

Words and Actions Should Be the Same

There once was a boy who loved eating sweets. He always asked for sweets from his father. His father was a poor man. He could not always afford sweets for his son. But the little boy did not understand this, and demanded sweets all the time. The boy's father thought hard about how to stop the child asking for so many sweets. There was a very holy man living nearby at that time. The boy's father had an idea. He decided to take the boy to the great man who might be able to persuade the child to stop asking for sweets all the time. The boy and his father went along to the great man. The father said to him, "O great saint, could you ask my son to stop asking for sweets which I cannot afford?" The great man was in difficulty, because he liked sweets himself. How could he ask the boy to give up asking for sweets? The holy man told the father to bring his son back after one month.During that month, the holy man gave up eating sweets, and when the boy and his father returned after a month, the holy man said to the boy "My dear child, will you stop asking for sweets which your father cannot afford to give you?"From then on, the boy stopped asking for sweets. The boy's father asked the saint, "Why did you not ask my son to give up asking for sweets when we came to you a month ago?" The saint replied, "How could I ask a boy to give up sweets when I loved sweets myself. In the last month I gave up eating sweets."A person's example is much more powerful than just his words. When we ask someone to do something, we must do it ourselves also. We should not ask others to do what we do not do ourselves.ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ACTIONS AND YOUR WORDS ARE THE SAME.

We should always tell the truth because it is a very bad habit and it will bring us to hell. Also if we tell a lie and the muslims figure out they will hate you and also punish you for lying. We should also do what we say. There was a man who wanted his son to stop asking for treats so he went to a holy saint and the saint told the father to come back next month. So when he went back the next month and the saint told the child to stop asking for treats. The kid stopped. So then the father asked why he didn't say that a month ago. The saint said because Iliked eating sweets and you always have to do what you speak.

in the 1st story, this man did not tell the truth and he always was bad, one day the prophet told him to tell the truth, that night, he wanted to steal something, and then he remembered not to steal stuff from other people, and he wanted to drink wine. and in the next story, this boy liked sweets but his father was poor that he couldnt buy sweets for the little boy, the boy said i want some sweets, so his father brought him to a good man, them an said come back after a month, because he liked sweets, so they came after a month and the good man told the little boy, not to ask his father for sweets andthe good man said i couldntr tell him because i use to like sweets

What I haved laerned from these two stories is that 1 you should always tell the truth even if it means giving up a bad habbit or trying to get away from a mistake that you do not want to get in trouble for. I have also learned that you can't say don't do this or don't do that if you do it. Everyone is a role model to everyone else. If people see that you are doing what you told them not to do they won't ever listen or trust you again.

What I learn from from the story is if you tell the truth you will not do bad sins. One day a man with many bad habits. He came and talk with Prophet Muhammed. He said to Prophet Muhammed which sins or habits he should give up. He said telling lies you give up. So he did. Everyday he thought something bad, he thought about Prophet telling he what he did, he could not tell a lies because he made promise to Prophet Muhammed he won't lie. So he didn't do the bad habit he want to do. So he became good man and didn't lie and other sins.

What I learn from the story was a boy who loved sweets but his father was not a noble person or poverty. His father had great idea, he knew a very holy man at the time. He ask him to tell his son to stop asking for sweets but the great man said to the boy's father that he has to come back in a month because he loved too, so that month he gave up sweets. The boy and the father showed up and the noble person said to stop you must give up sweets. The boy's father said to the noble person why did you told this to my son now insead a month ago. The noble man said we should not ask others to do what we do not do ourselves.

the first summary tells you about lying and if you keep doing it it will be a habit and cant stop so allah wont reward you paradise.the second one is about a poor man whos son is adicted to sweets but his dad is to poor to get him sweets all the time so he went to a holy man and said could you tell my son to stop asking for sweets. but the man couldnt say that because he liked sweets too.the story means to not only say it but do it.

What i learned in the first story is that telling lies is a very bad habit which can lead to other bad habits and telling the truth at all times makes you an honest person which is very good.

The 2 story tells you that telling somebody not to do sometheing that you are doing is a bad example especialy if its something you frequently do. So everytime you ask somebody not to do something you shoudlnt be doing it!

What i learn about this story he told a bad lie and got in trouble he did lots of bad thing and he promise prophet muhammed to not lie. So he he want to do bad stuff but remeber not to lie so has nothing say. He became a good man.

there was a boy and he keep asking for sweets and his father is poor.
his father got an idea, he knew a rich man. he wait for a month and the great man told the boy stop eating sweet. the reason is that if a person does something you have to do it.

what i learned about this story is that one of the things to do to be a good muslim is to never lie because lying always gets you in a lot of trouble, telling the truth is very good because you will not get in a lot of trouble and Allah will reward us with lots of good deeds. When the man wus used to doing his bad habits he slowly started stopping by telling the truth one at a time. In the end it made him not only a good person but also a good muslim.

for the second story i learned that you can't tell someone to do something when you do the exact opposite, it's not good to do that because you're not being fair, it's called being a hypocrite and noone should be allowed to do it, always make sure your words and actions are the same because actions always speak louder than words.

What I learned from the first story was that if you want to become a good muslim you should always tell the truth for if you don't always tell the truth and you suggest to lie all the time Allah (our creator) won't send you to heaven and Allah would send you straight to hell. If you promise Allah that you won't tell a lie and you continue lying then your commitment for being a good Muslim is not good.

What I learned about the second story is that people who can't afford as much stuff as other people can should not be bribed alot because what they are facing gets pretty difficult for them and if they say that they can't afford treats all the time for their kids then they should get pitty from others and others should also obey them and their needs.

I learned that a true muslim never lies and to think twice before doing something bad and also before telling a lie to think about the outcome of that lie.It is also good to tell someone not to do somthing bad but make sure that you don't do it yourself.I know a lot of people like sweets but allways make sure that you are not being selfish!
